Description

Puy de l'Ours Savigny-lès-Beaune Rouge Clos des Godeaux is a refined red wine produced in the prestigious Burgundy region, specifically in Savigny-lès-Beaune. This organic wine is produced in purity from Pinot Noir grapes. The vineyards grow on clayey-limestone soils with white marl with south-west exposure, which contributes to the optimal ripening of the grapes.

The grape harvest is manual. Fermentation takes place with complete destemming and light daily pressing, plus two foot pressings towards the end of fermentation, using a vertical press. The refinement takes place in wooden barrels for approximately 8 months, without the use of new wood, to preserve the natural qualities of the wine.

The color of the wine is ruby red. On the nose, it stands out for its elegant and floral aromas, with an accent on pleasant red fruits. In the mouth, it has a fine and fruity structure, with a light bitterness that adds complexity to the palate.

This wine is particularly suitable for accompanying a wide range of dishes, from those with tomato sauce to savory fish, roasted white meats, poultry and red meat.
