Description
The Savigny-Les-Beaune 1er Cru La Dominode from Domaine Bruno Clair is an excellent example of a red wine from the prestigious Burgundy wine region. Produced with selected Pinot Noir grapes, it benefits from a favorable geographical position, with clayey-limestone soils and an optimal east/northeast exposure which favors the ripening of the grapes.
The winemaking takes place through the use of partly whole grapes, with a maceration that extends for 10-15 days in wooden containers. This process helps to extract colours, aromas and tannins in a controlled and balanced way. The refinement of the wine, which lasts 18 to 20 months in partially new oak barrels, adds further nuances of taste and aroma, while preserving the typicality and freshness of the Pinot Noir.
It stands out for its intense ruby red color, which preludes a nose rich in black fruits, announcing a palate characterized by an excellent tannic structure, power and complexity.
It goes perfectly with legume soups and red meats.
