Description
Savennières Coulée de Serrant Moelleux is a sweet white wine produced in the Loire region of France. This wine is made from Chenin Blanc grapes grown on shale soils, with vineyards that have an average age of 55 years. Nicolas Joly manages the Clos de la Coulée de Serrant, using biodynamic farming methods.
The vinification involves soft pressing, spontaneous fermentation and aging for 8 months on the fine lees in used double oak barriques. This process gives the wine considerable complexity and volume.
The Savennières Coulée de Serrant Moelleux has a complex and voluminous taste, with notes of flowers and ripe fruits. The sweet finish is balanced by the extraordinary minerality of Chenin Blanc, avoiding a cloying drink.
This wine pairs perfectly with evenings when you feel low-energy, awakening positive vibrations and emotions.
