Description
Savennières Coulée de Serrant is a white wine produced in the Loire region, France. This wine is made from Chenin Blanc grapes grown on shale soils, with vineyards that have an average age of 60 years. Nicolas Joly manages the Clos de la Coulée de Serrant, using biodynamic farming methods.
The vinification involves soft pressing, spontaneous fermentation and aging for 8 months on the fine lees in used double oak barriques. This process gives the wine considerable complexity and volume.
Savennières Coulée de Serrant has a powerful taste, with notes of flowers, ripe apricots, grapefruit and honey. The sip is rich, slender, balanced and infinitely elegant, with a very long and mineral finish.
This wine pairs perfectly with moments when you feel low-energy, awakening positive vibrations and emotions.
