Description
Reine Pédauque's Santenay is a refined Pinot Noir from the Santenay appellation, in the south of the Côte de Beaune. This region is known for its dual spa and viticultural vocation, offering a unique terroir for this grape variety.
Classic vinification involves cold pre-fermentation maceration and fermentation in thermoregulated stainless steel cuve, followed by aging in oak barrels for 8-16 months, with a percentage of 20% new barrel.
It presents itself with an intense and brilliant robe pourpre, a complex nose of raspberry and cherry, and in the mouth it reveals a balance between the crunch of the fruits and persistent tannins, enriched by notes of vanilla and a dense finish with a mineral touch.
Recommended with meat dishes, poultry laquées, homemade burgers and a variety of cheeses.
