Description
Sannio Piedirosso comes from the Pozzillo vineyard owned by the Mustilli winery, located in the municipality of Sant'Agata dei Goti, in the province of Benevento, planted on volcanic, calcareous and clayey soils.
The must ferments in steel tanks at a controlled temperature for about 2 weeks. After malolactic fermentation, the wine matures in steel to preserve its best fruit and freshness characteristics.
Bright ruby red with purple hues, it gives the nose pleasant sensations of ripe red fruit, with hints of medicinal plants, sage and thyme. In the mouth it is warm and savory, rightly tannic and soft, with a balanced and intense finish of dried fruit.
Unsurpassed in combination with first courses with meat sauce and rice sartù. Also excellent with red meat dishes.
