Description
Moraccio is a red that sees the main grape variety of Tuscany, Sangiovese, originating in the Gambassi Terme area, in the province of Florence, as the protagonist of the blend .
In the blend the Sangiovese is completed by Merlot and Petit Verdot grapes. Fermentation takes place in steel at a controlled temperature. Before bottling, the wine ages for 6-8 months in French oak barrels.
It has a ruby red color. The nose clearly reveals notes of vanilla, licorice and aging wood that integrate perfectly with the fruity aromas. In the mouth it offers a good presence of evolved tannins that integrate harmoniously with its round and complex structure, closing on a persistent finish with toasted references.
Excellent in combination with cured meats and red meat main courses.
