Description
The Sangiovese di Romagna Superiore Ora by San Patrignano comes from vineyards located on the Coriano hills, managed exclusively under biodynamic conditions.
It is produced with pure Sangiovese grapes. The vinification takes place with a maceration on the skins for about 3 weeks, with periodic pumping over. Subsequently the wine ages in barrique for 12 months and for a further period in the bottle.
It is characterized by a soft ruby colour. The nose opens with a broad and enveloping bouquet, with hints of black currant, raspberry and plum, enriched with pleasant spicy scents of leather and licorice. On the palate it is pleasantly fresh and elegant, with a balanced tannic component.
Perfect to accompany different dishes of traditional Romagna cuisine, it is ideal in combination with meat sauce, risotto and fresh cheeses.
