Description
Oltremé is the Susumaniello of Tenute Rubino that best describes the company understanding and the climate of collaboration built up over time.
With vineyards located at sea level on sandy soils, the harvest is carried out entirely by hand in the first days of October with a yield of 70 quintals per hectare. Fermentation takes place in steel at temperatures between 22 and 24 ° C. The wine ages a further 10 months in steel and a minimum of two months in the bottle.
Intense ruby red in color with violet reflections, it presents harmonious notes of red fruits with cherry, plum and pomegranate. The bouquet is finished with notes of cinnamon and white pepper, with good sapidity and minerality on the palate, with soft tannins for a harmonious and persistent taste.
It accompanies traditional Apulian first courses and is ideal with roasted veal served with baked potatoes.
