Description
Barbanera's Ngudrà is the interpreter of Apulia's great wine-growing areas and its precious grapes.
The grapes are vinified in separate tanks and undergo a cold pre-fermentation maceration (temperature around 4°C). Ageing takes place for about 9 months in new barriques, half French and half American oak.
Deep purplish red, it boasts an enveloping nose with clear notes of red and black fruits, plums, cherries, blueberries, as well as toasted notes, coffee and cocoa beans. On the palate it is structured but with delicate tannins and a long finish.
Sublime with baked pasta, main courses based on braised red meats and aged cheeses. Try it with a game stew.
