Description

This Primitivo di Cantele is capable of expressing in a single glass the double personality of Salento, the Adriatic and Ionian one, relating to the two seas located near the area dedicated to the cultivation of Primitivo grapes, precisely in the Torricella area, in the province of Taranto, and San Pietro Vernotico, in the province of Brindisi.

Once the harvest operations are completed in the last decade of August, the vinification in the cellar takes place with maceration of 6-8 days in contact with the skins, at a controlled temperature of 22-24 ° C. Maturation in barriques for about 6 months follows.

It has a ruby red color with a garnet edge. Mineral aromas emerge on the nose and a fruity range of cherry, black cherry and plum that is enriched with delicate floral and spicy notes in the finish. In the mouth the entrance is fresh, soft and warm, with well integrated tannins that give vigor to the taste but also a good dose of elegance.

Excellent with first courses dressed with meat sauce, with lamb and aged cheeses.
