Description
Malvasia Nera Velarino is inspired by the large curtain that since ancient Rome has separated the stage from the audience and creates a sense of expectation that results in the full appreciation of the show, just as happens to those who choose and uncork these wines.
The Malvasia Nera grapes are de-stemmed and pressed, and then macerated at a controlled temperature, with frequent pumping over. The malolactic fermentation also takes place in steel vats, followed by an aging of 6-8 months in American oak barrels.
Intense ruby red color, it has a nose rich in plum and cherry aromas with evident spicy notes. The sip is warm, enveloping, with a long finish.
Ideal to accompany light risottos, soups and grilled white meats.
