Description

Calafuria di Tormaresca is a rosé wine produced in the Salento region of Puglia. This limited edition is embellished with an artist label created in collaboration with Valeria Petrone. The Negroamaro grapes used for this wine come from selected vineyards and are carefully cultivated to best express the characteristics of the Salento territory.

The vinification takes place with a soft pressing of the grapes immediately after harvest, followed by a low-temperature alcoholic fermentation process in stainless steel tanks. The must is kept at 12 °C for natural clarification before fermentation, which takes place at 16 °C to preserve the freshness and intensity of the aromas. This wine ages for a short period in contact with its own yeasts, always in steel, before being bottled.

It has a peach blossom pink color and exudes an aromatic bouquet of pink grapefruit, peach and pomegranate, enriched by delicate floral notes of lavender. On the palate it stands out for its softness and pleasant freshness, balanced with a good aromatic persistence and a light flavor that gives depth to the wine.

This rosé pairs perfectly with fresh cheeses, first courses with light sauces, delicate meats and fried fish.
