Description

Saint Romain Cuvée de la Mésange is a white wine produced by Domaine Ponsot in the Burgundy region. This wine is made with Chardonnay grapes from vineyards with an average age of 30 years, located on marly soils with limestone debris.

The winemaking takes place with manual harvesting and selection of the grapes directly in the vineyard. Maturation takes place for 12 months in French oak barrels of at least 7 years, without using new barrels.

On the palate, this Chardonnay offers elegant notes of ripe fruit, citrus and light nuances of vanilla, due to aging in wood. The wine has good acidity and a harmonious balance, with a long and mineral finish.

Saint Romain Cuvée de la Mésange is perfect to pair with grilled fish or shellfish dishes.
