Description
According to legend, Château Talbot owes its name to an English soldier who died during the battle of Castillon in 1453. Today the château belongs to the Cordier family and its 102 hectares of vineyards make it one of the largest châteaus in the Medoc. Recognized as 4ème Cru Classé, this wine embodies the excellence and tradition of the wines produced in this historic area.
At sight, it has a deep and brilliant ruby red color. On the nose, it offers a complex aromatic bouquet, with notes of ripe black fruits, spices, and a subtle hint of vanilla. On the palate, this wine shows an elegant and balanced structure. Flavors of blackcurrant, plum emerge, accompanied by touches of cedar and tobacco, with soft tannins and a lively freshness that leads to a persistent and satisfying finish.
Château Talbot, 4ème Cru Classé of Saint-Julien, is the ideal companion for dishes such as beef fillet, grilled lamb, and mature cheeses.
