Description
Château Saint-Pierre is a renowned estate located in Saint-Julien, in the Bordeaux region. Saint-Julien is known for producing high-quality red wines, often characterized by elegance and structure, and Château Saint-Pierre is considered one of the area's prominent château. The history of Château Saint-Pierre dates back to the 17th century, and it was included in the official classification of Bordeaux wines of 1855, where it was classified as Quatrième Cru.
It is produced using traditional winemaking methods. A careful fermentation of the grapes allows us to preserve the varietal characteristics of the Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot grapes, which compose it, after which the wine is subjected to a 14-month refinement in mostly new oak barrels.
It has a deep ruby red color. On the nose, complex aromas of black fruits, aromatic herbs, spices and light earthy notes emerge. In the mouth it is structured and full-bodied, with silky tannins.
Excellent in combination with red meats, game and mature cheeses, for its ability to enhance the complexity of the flavors of these dishes.
