The 3ème Cru Classé is produced by Château Langoa-Barton, whose origins date back to 1722 and coincide with those of the Barton family. The wine was born in Saint-Julien, Bordeaux, where the family manages 18 hectares of vineyards.
Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot Cabernet Franc grapes are vinified by parcel in 200 hl oak vats. The wine is subsequently aged for 50% in new French oak barrels for approx. 20 months.
Ruby red in color with purple hues, the nose opens with a bouquet of red and black fruits in addition to notes of leather and spices. The sip is structured, with fine and elegant tannins and a spicy and persistent finish.
Ideal in combination with roast beef stuffed with plums and bacon or with stewed meats, including game.
