Description

Château Yon-Figeac, once part of the famous Château Figeac and definitively confirmed as Grand Cru Classé in 2012, gives its name to its first wine born from the vineyard lying on the right bank of the Dordogne river

After the manual harvesting of the Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot clusters, when fully ripe, the fermentation takes place in steel with maceration of 20-30 days. The wine ages for 12-14 months in 40% new French oak barriques.

Ruby in color tending to garnet, it expresses itself on the nose with notes of cherry and vanilla. On the palate it is moderately full-bodied, with delicate tannins and mineral references.

Excellent in combination with all types of red meats, it excels in the company of game or mushroom-based dishes.
