Château Vieux Clos is a Grand Cru that was born on the western plateau of Saint-Èmilion, from a vineyard of only 7.8 hectares located between Château Grand Mayne and Château Angélus.
The blend of this label is composed of the Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec varieties. The vinification takes place inside cement tanks, with 4 weeks of maceration. The wine ages for half a month in half new oak barrels.
This wine has a ruby red color. The nose is reminiscent of ripe red fruit and autumn spices. The palate, very balanced, is characterized by a complex sensation of roundness and freshness.
