Description
The Ruché di Bava comes from the so-called President's vineyards, located in the heart of Castagnole Monferrato. It is considered by the locals as the "parish priest's wine", as it was the parish priest Don Cauda who converted this wine from sweet to dry red.
It is obtained only from Ruchè grapes. Fermentation takes place with short maceration on the skins and is completed without pomace. In order to preserve the fragrance of the primary grape aromas, the Ruché does not see the wood. It is bottled where its powerful floral bouquet evolves.
Ruby red in color, it releases hints of rose and violet, accompanied by spicy tones of white pepper. In the mouth it is warm and balanced, pleasantly soft and persistent. It increases its finesse up to five years, preserving the typical aroma of the grape from which it originates.
Perfect with roasts and game, it goes well with all mushroom dishes and aged cheeses.
