Description
Costa di Rose is a new interpretation of Sangiovese, the main grape variety of the Romagna hills, the result of Umberto Cesari's experience and style.
Soft pressing of the grapes is carried out, followed by static decantation and fermentation at low temperature. The aging takes place in steel and lasts about 6 months.
It wears the glass of a beautiful old rose with peach reflections. It begins on the nose with intriguing aromas of wild strawberry and cherry, accompanied by lots of pomegranate and poppy notes in the finish. Sapid and elegant palate, surprising for freshness and drinkability.
To be uncorked in moments of conviviality as an aperitif, it goes well with fish-based appetizers and vegetable pies. Try it with mortadella.
