Description
This Trebbiano Chardonnay Radici d'Italia by Terre Forti comes from the hills of the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy. Made with a blend of Trebbiano and Chardonnay, the wine expresses the typicality of the hilly and flat territory of the area. The vineyards, located at altitudes of up to 150 meters, are cultivated on calcareous and clayey soils.
After a manual and mechanical harvest that takes place between August and September, the grapes are subjected to traditional destemming and pressing. Fermentation takes place for 12 days at controlled temperatures between 16 and 18°C. Before bottling, the wine ages in stainless steel tanks for a period of 3-6 months to preserve its freshness and vivacity.
Straw yellow in color with light greenish reflections, it offers an intense bouquet of tropical fruit, with distinct notes of pineapple and floral nuances. On the palate it is well balanced, soft and characterized by a pleasant roundness.
Ideal when paired with first courses with creamy sauces and seafood-based pasta dishes.
