Description
Sangiovese Rubicone Radici d'Italia is a red wine from the hills of Romagna, in Emilia-Romagna. Composed largely of Sangiovese grapes and other varieties, it is grown on clay soils at an altitude of between 150 and 300 meters.
The winemaking process involves fermentation for about 10 days at a controlled temperature of 25-26 °C in tanks. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation to smooth out the acidity and is then refined in stainless steel tanks for a period ranging from 3 to 6 months before bottling.
It has an intense ruby red color, while on the nose it offers typical hints of red fruit, reminiscent of cherries and small berries. On the palate it is a medium-structured wine, with good freshness and a long persistence.
This red wine pairs perfectly with meat dishes, cheeses and traditional dishes, complementing the flavours and enhancing regional Italian cuisine.
