Description

Rosso Rubicone 928 by Enio Ottaviani is a blend of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon coming from Romagna, precisely from the San Clemente area in Rimini. The position of the vineyards, exposed to the south, south-east, on clay-loam soil, ensures optimal ripening of the grapes. The influence of the breeze coming from the Adriatic Sea also contributes to the formation of the profile of the wine which therefore reflects its territory.

The harvest takes place with the manual harvesting of the grapes. Fermentation in cement allows the purity of the fruit to be preserved, while refinement in barrique adds nuances of complexity and enriches the aromatic bouquet.

It has an intense and powerful purple red color, heralding a firm structure that promises a rich tasting experience. On the nose, it stands out for its notes of ripe fruit, which lead to a dry, harmonious and notable full-bodied palate, a perfect balance between strength and elegance.

This wine is ideally accompanied by stewed meat dishes and mature cheeses, combinations that enhance its structure and flavor complexity.
