Description

Le Bas Des Chênes by Domaine Albert Sounit was born west of Rully, from organically grown vineyards.

The wine is made exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes, which are first destemmed and then transferred to steel tanks. There is a cold maceration for 5-7 days, followed by fermentation with indigenous yeasts. The wine then ages for 8 months in French oak barrels (10% new). The wine is bottled unfiltered.

Ruby red in color, it opens on the nose with hints of cherry, strawberry and sweet spices. The sip is soft and mineral, with excellent persistence.

Ideal in combination with poultry, omelettes and delicate cheeses.
