Description

Rosso di Montepulciano from Fattoria del Cerro comes from vineyards located in the heart of Montepulciano, an area known for the production of fine wines. Thanks to their unique characteristics, Tenute del Cerro wines are among the most appreciated Italian excellences.

It is mainly produced with Sangiovese and Mammolo grapes, harvested entirely by hand. The wine ages in oak barrels for about 3 months and for a further period in the bottle before being placed on the market.

It is characterized by an intense ruby color. The nose opens with fruity aromas of black cherry, enriched with delicate hints of violet and pleasant spicy notes of vanilla. On the palate it is elegant, pleasantly balanced and with a slight initial tannic note.

Perfect to accompany dishes with meat sauce and first courses, it is ideal in combination with grilled red meats.
