Description

The Rosso di Montepulciano Sabazio La Braccesca of the Marchesi Antinori was born in the estate of the same name, located at the foot of Cortona.

It is mainly produced with Prugnolo Gentile grapes, synonymous with Sangiovese, and with Merlot grapes, harvested only by hand in mid-September. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature for about 10 days. Subsequently the wine is aged in barrique for 4 months before being bottled.

Sabazio is characterized by a ruby red color with brilliant reflections. The nose opens with a delicate floral bouquet, enriched by pleasant hints of small red fruits and cherries. On the palate it is fresh, pleasantly persistent and with a balanced acidity.

Perfect to accompany first courses and grilled red meats, it is ideal in combination with game, game and aged cheeses.
