Description
Rosso di Montepulciano di Carpineto is a skilful blend of Sangiovese grapes, known in Montepulciano with the name Prugnolo Gentile, Canaiolo and other red berried varieties, grown on sandy alluvial soils with southern exposure.
The vinification takes place with a short maceration in contact with the skins for 10-12 days, with control of the fermentation temperature between 25 and 30 ° C.
In the glass it has a brilliant ruby red color. The olfactory profile is vinous and intense, with hints of cherry and strawberry. The taste is characterized by a young and fresh taste, slightly tannic.
Ideal with cold cuts, white meats and fresh cheeses.
