Description
Poliziano's Rosso di Montepulciano is born in vineyards located in the municipality of Montepulciano.
It is produced with 80% Sangiovese grapes and 20% Merlot grapes, harvested only by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature for 10-12 days. Subsequently the wine is aged partly in barrique and partly in stainless steel tanks for about 8 months, before being bottled.
This Rosso di Montepulciano is characterized by a ruby red color. The nose opens with hints of red fruits, enriched by pleasant spicy notes. On the palate it is young, full-bodied and pleasantly fruity.
Perfect to accompany appetizers and cold cuts, it is ideal in combination with grilled red meats and aged cheeses.
