Excellently driven in fermentation, this young red shows an important sensorial cleanliness that immediately denotes quality. The hints of hibiscus flowers, lemon blossoms, dehydrated cherries and green tea leaves dominate the main scene and give immediate pleasure. Medium body, soft tannins well extracted and a bright and crunchy finish. Drink now.

Description

Poliziano's Rosso di Montepulciano is born in vineyards located in the municipality of Montepulciano.

It is produced with 80% Sangiovese grapes and 20% Merlot grapes, harvested only by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature for 10-12 days. Subsequently the wine is aged partly in barrique and partly in stainless steel tanks for about 8 months, before being bottled.

This Rosso di Montepulciano is characterized by a ruby red color. The nose opens with hints of red fruits, enriched by pleasant spicy notes. On the palate it is young, full-bodied and pleasantly fruity.

Perfect to accompany appetizers and cold cuts, it is ideal in combination with grilled red meats and aged cheeses.
