Description
The Rosso di Montalcino Gli Angeli of Cantine da Vinci was born in vineyards located on the hills of Montalcino and is part of the "I Capolavori" line.
The wine is made from Sangiovese grapes with a small addition of Canaiolo. The grapes are vinified in steel tanks at a controlled temperature, with maceration on the skins for 10 days. The wine ages in the same containers for a few months, followed by 3 months in the bottle.
In the glass, the wine has an intense purple-red color. The nose has notes of black currants and cherries. The sip is full-bodied and rich, with an averagely persistent finish.
The wine is excellent in combination with pasta with meat sauce, beef stew and pork.
