Description
The Rosso di Montalcino of the Salvioni La Cerbaiola company was born near Montalcino in a vineyard divided into 3 plots and located approx. 400 masl Giulio Salvioni's estate is a small reality that produces excellent quality wines. The property is located south-east of the village of Montalcino, in an area with a cool and always very windy climate
The wine is made from 100% Sangiovese grapes, which are vinified in steel with spontaneous fermentations. The refinement takes place in Slavonian oak barrels for up to 12 months.
Ruby red in colour, the wine reveals aromas of cherry and ripe red fruit. The sip is structured, with elegant tannins and a persistent finish.
Excellent in combination with Tuscan appetizers of cold cuts, cheeses and croutons and grilled red meats.
