Description
The Rosso di Montalcino by Marchesato degli Aleramici was born in vineyards located in Pian delle Vigne, in the ancient farmhouse located on the gentle slope that descends from the state forest towards the Ombrone river, in the heart of the magical terroir of Montalcino.
It is produced exclusively with Sangiovese grapes. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature with maceration on the skins for approximately 15 days. Subsequently the wine ages in oak barrels for 6-12 months.
It is characterized by a ruby color. The nose opens with a bouquet of violets and berries, enriched with hints of spices. On the palate it is warm and with a notable aromatic persistence.
Perfect to accompany grilled red meats and tasty legume soups.
