Description
The Rosso di Montalcino of the Cantina Le Ragnaie is born in vineyards located on the Lume Spento pass, or the highest point of the entire Montalcino area.
It is produced exclusively with Sangiovese grapes. Fermentation takes place in cement tanks at a controlled temperature of 28 ° C for 28 days. Subsequently the wine ages in barrique for 13 months before being bottled.
This Rosso di Montalcino is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with a rich bouquet of laurel and eucalyptus, enriched with pleasant hints of blackberries, mulberry and bitter oranges. On the palate it is full, sapid, elegant and pleasantly persistent.
Perfect to accompany dishes with meat sauce and risotto, it is ideal in combination with game, stews and roasts.
