Nose attack of undergrowth, currant, and blueberry, then a hint of caper. In the mouth, it is dense and compact, with savory tannins and a pleasantly bitter finish.

Description

The Rosso di Montalcino from Azienda Agricola La Torre is produced on the southern slope of the municipality of Montalcino, near the hamlet of Sant'Angelo in Colle. This area, thanks to its altitude, good ventilation, and favorable exposure, allows Sangiovese to ripen in ideal conditions, offering wines of great typicity and elegance.

The wine is made exclusively with Sangiovese grapes of the Brunello variety. The vinification follows traditional methods, and the aging takes place for 18 months in French oak barrels, with a small part aged for 12 months in barrique, contributing to enrich the wine's complexity and depth.

It presents a bright ruby red color. The nose has vinous aromas accompanied by hints of violet and tobacco. On the palate, it is dry and harmonious, with a balanced structure that fully reflects the characteristics of Sangiovese cultivated in the Montalcino area.

Perfect with meat dishes, such as roasts or grills, and with rich first courses of Tuscan cuisine.
