Description
Rosso di Montalcino Ignaccio is traditionally born from the vintage Brunello Il Marroneto and shares its sensory characteristics with it, albeit with a lower charge of complexity.
Pure Sangiovese, derives from a fermentation in steel for about 20-22 days, followed by aging in oak barrels for 22 months and for another 6 months in the bottle.
In the glass it has a bewitching and intense ruby red color. A complex bouquet is articulated on the nose, composed of floral notes of rose that mix with balsamic, spicy and red fruit sensations. Structured and intense, in the mouth it offers a warm and harmonious sip, with a remarkably fresh and persistent finish.
Very versatile in the combination, it can accompany a meat sauce such as a seasoned cheese but also a red meat cooked on the grill.
