Description
Rosso di Montalcino by Giuseppe Gorelli was born from the hands of the oenologist and consultant, who founded his cellar in Montalcino in 2017.
It is made up of 100% Sangiovese grapes from vineyards located in the Canalicchio area. The vinification is spontaneous with indigenous yeasts, with a maceration on the skins for 40-45 days, and is kept partly in steel tanks and partly in wooden barrels. The fino ages in large barrels for about 9 months.
Ruby red in color, the nose is expressed with aromas of ripe cherry and raspberry, with delicate balsamic notes. The sip is fresh, with balanced tannins and excellent persistence.
It goes well with savory first courses with meat sauces and grilled steak.
