Description
Franco Pacenti's Rosso di Montalcino is born in vineyards located on hills on the north-east side of Montalcino.
It is produced exclusively with Sangiovese grapes, harvested exclusively by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature and the wine is subsequently aged in Slavonian oak barrels for at least 6 months.
It is characterized by a ruby red color. The nose opens with hints of red rose and violet, enriched by pleasant notes of cherry and other red fruits. On the palate it is well structured, balanced and with a good finish.
Perfect to accompany lasagna, pasta with meat sauce, cured meats and mature cheeses.
