Description
The Rosso di Montalcino Deimassi of Castiglion del Bosco takes its name from the boulders that make up the wall of the terrace that supports the vineyard.
The 100% Sangiovese grapes are taken to the cellar where they are vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, where they remain for a few months.
In the glass the wine has a ruby red color, with purple hues. On the nose there are hints of violets and red fruits, in addition to spicy and mineral notes. The sip is rich and well structured, with well-leveled tannins and good persistence.
Ideal in combination with Tuscan cuisine, from first courses with game sauces to roast meats.
