Description
Cecchi's Rosso di Montalcino is produced exclusively in Montalcino, Tuscany. This region is renowned for its medium-textured soil ideal for the cultivation of Sangiovese, which makes up 100% of this wine.
The vinification takes place with the traditional method in red at a controlled temperature of 28°C, with fermentation and maceration that lasts 15 days. The refinement is divided into 6 months in barriques, of which only 20% are new, followed by at least 6 months in the bottle to ensure the perfect harmony of flavors is achieved.
This wine has a ruby red color and offers the nose a delicate but intensely aromatic bouquet. On the palate it is pleasant and harmonious, with a good final persistence which makes it a balanced and refined wine, ideal for any occasion.
This Rosso di Montalcino pairs perfectly with red meats, being pleasant even with white meats and important cheeses.
