Description
Rosso di Montalcino di Casanova di Neri was born in the unique terroir of Montalcino and is produced with the same care and meticulousness reserved for his older brother Brunello.
Fruit of only Sangiovese grapes, harvested and rigorously selected by hand in October, it foresees spontaneous fermentation in steel, with maceration on the skins for 18 days. The wine ages in cask for 12 months before being bottled.
Intense ruby red in color, it releases a fruity cherry scent, enriched with floral notes of violet and rose, with hints of balsamic and licorice hints. Ready to drink wine but with great elegance and structure. The finish is long and persistent, with great balance and softness.
Perfect to accompany first courses with meat sauce, it goes very well with red meats cooked on the grill and all the meats of the Tuscan tradition.
