Description
This Rosso di Montalcino originates from the vineyards owned by the Capanna company, located in the Montosoli area, in the northern part of Montalcino.
Result of the vinification of Sangiovese grapes only, with fermentation of 18-20 days at controlled temperature with maceration in contact with the skins, spontaneous malolactic in truncated conical Slavonian oak vats and aging in the same containers for 6-10 months.
Wine with an intense ruby red color, it expresses fresh sensations of red fruit on the nose in which the note of raspberry stands out, combined with hints of licorice and vanilla. On the palate it is slightly tannic, structured and persistent.
It goes well with first courses with meat sauce and roasts, but also with mushrooms and salami of the Tuscan gastronomic tradition.
