Description
This Rosso di Montalcino comes from the hilly areas of the renowned municipality of Montalcino, in the province of Siena.
It is obtained from Sangiovese grapes only, whose vinification takes place with maceration on the skins for about 10 days, to find the right relationship between structure and perfume. Followed by aging in Slavonian oak barrels for 7-8 months.
At sight it has a decisive and limpid purple-red color. It opens to the nose with intense hints of cherry, blackberry and black currant, with pleasant spicy references to close the picture. On the palate it is a wine with a full-bodied structure and long persistence, with a beautiful balance that is established between alcohol, acidity and tannic component.
Perfect in the company of ground first courses and red meats.
