Rosso di Montalcino Campogiovanni di San Felice comes from the vineyards of the prestigious Tenuta di Campogiovanni, located in the Sienese municipality of Montalcino.
It is produced with pure Sangiovese grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 28-30 ° C for at least 12 days. Subsequently the wine ages for 12 months in barrique and for another 2 months in bottle before being placed on the market.
Campogiovanni is characterized by a ruby red color. The nose opens with a delicate bouquet, in which intense hints of cherry and blackberry stand out, enriched by pleasant shades of cedar wood. On the palate it is harmonious, with a soft and fruity structure.
Perfect to accompany red meats and grilled white meats, it is ideal in combination with meat sauce, mushrooms and truffles.
