Description

Younger brother of the famous Brunello Biondi Santi produced in the renowned Il Greppo estate.

It is made from 100% Sangiovese Grosso grapes, harvested around the second half of September. After a traditional vinification carried out in red, it is aged for 12 months in Slavonian oak barrels, then for another 4 months in the bottle.

It appears to the eye of an intense ruby red colour. The perfume is intense and harmonious, in which vanilla hints of ageing are accompanied by notes of red and balsamic fruits. On the palate it is harmonious and structured, with a nice flavour and persistence.

Ideal to serve with rich first courses and grilled red meats.
