Description

Rosso di Montalcino di Altesino comes from vineyards located in the municipality of Montalcino, in the province of Siena.

It is produced exclusively with Sangiovese grapes, harvested and selected only by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine is refined in barriques for 6-8 months and for another 3 months in bottle before being put on the market.

This Rosso di Montalcino is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with an intense bouquet of red fruits. On the palate it is harmonious, velvety and pleasantly fragrant.

Perfect to accompany grilled and wet red meats, it is ideal in combination with game and mature cheeses.
