Description
The Abbazia di Rosazzo wine represents one of the crus of the famous Friuli company Livio Felluga.
It is produced with Friulano, Pinot Bianco, Sauvignon, Malvasia and Ribolla Gialla grapes, harvested in three stages in the first half of September and softly pressed. The must is left to ferment in stainless steel containers, with the inoculation of selected yeasts in Friuli. After a few days, the wine is decanted into oak barrels where it completes the malolactic fermentation and carries out the maturation phase.
The Abbey of Rosazzo di Felluga is characterized by a very intense straw yellow color. The nose opens elegant and highly refined, with delicate fruity sensations that intertwine with aromatic herbs and spices such as mint, anise, pink pepper and nutmeg, ending with soft floral hints. In the mouth it shows a lively flavor with an immediate impact, with a pleasant sapidity that well balances a pleasant taste of lime and bergamot, ending with sweet notes of crème caramel and chopped hazelnuts.
Perfect to accompany very important dishes based on crustaceans, oysters and fish caviar, it also goes well with vegetables and light meats.
