Rum 1888 by Brugal is a rum originating from the Dominican Republic which bears the year of the company inauguration in its name.

Brugal 1888 is a rum produced by the distillation of molasses with the multi-column method, with double aging up to 14 years: in American white oak barrels ex bourbon up to 8 years and, subsequently, in European red oak barrels ex sherry Oloroso fino at 6 years old.

Dark amber in colour, this rum opens to the nose with intense sensations of red fruit, dried fruit, accompanied by delicate woody notes. On the palate it is soft, round, with a long and persistent finish.

Perfect as a meditation distillate.
