Description
Rum Zacapa Solera Gran Reserva 23 is an exceptional distillate, produced in Guatemala using only fresh sugar cane juice, known as “virgin honey”.
The five-day fermentation, carried out with a yeast extracted from pineapple, gives this rum a unique and unmistakable aromatic profile. Aged in oak barrels that have previously contained Bourbon, Sherry or Port, it is born from a blend of young rums and rums aged between 6 and 23 years and refined according to a new aging system: the dynamic Solera.
Intense amber yellow in color with coppery highlights, it offers a rich olfactory profile, with notes of ripe exotic fruit and dried fruit. The taste is enveloping, with a density and complexity that caress the palate, revealing a creamy sweetness. Finally a full, soft and pleasantly velvety sip.
Excellent as an after-dinner drink, this rum fully expresses its personality when paired with a good cigar and dark chocolate.
