Description
Ron Añejo 18 Años Solera wants to summarize the best of the rum variety. It is, in fact, a blend of different types of rum, aged up to 18 years.
Each rum present in the blend is obtained from a distillation of the previously fermented sugar cane juice. Maturation follows according to the Solera method, which is carried out with medium toasted oak barrels in which American Whiskey and aged Sherry were contained. A final period of ageing in barrels previously used to refine the Port completes the production process.
The color is dark and reminiscent of the brown shades of mahogany. The elegance of the perfume opens on notes of vanilla, cocoa, spices and tobacco. Orange peel and dried fruit complete the aromatic picture of the palate, which presents itself in a balanced and complex softness.
