Description
Dettori Rosso, coming from the Romangia region in Sardinia, reflects the powerful delicacy and ancient wisdom of the Sennori territory, expressed through the native vine grown in the Badde Nigolosu cru. This wine stands out for its limited production, with only 4000 bottles made, underlining an exclusivity resulting from meticulous craftsmanship.
The winemaking follows a completely natural process: the grapes are fermented and matured in concrete and glass containers for 57 months, without the use of yeasts or other additives, thus maintaining the original integrity and purity of the fruit. This technique deeply respects the winemaking traditions of the region, avoiding any intervention that could alter the authentic expression of the terroir.
Visually, Dettori Rosso presents itself with an intense ruby red color, animated by garnet nuances. On the nose, it opens with a complex bouquet where notes of sour cherry, myrtle, violet essence and lavender emerge, enriched by accents of mint, thyme, cocoa, carob, graphite and black pepper. On the palate, it offers a robust but balanced taste experience, characterized by a surprising freshness that combines with a well-defined tannic structure and a persistent flavored finish.
It is ideally accompanied with intense and tasty dishes of Sardinian cuisine, such as roast lamb or mature cheeses, enhancing the characteristics of the wine and the local culinary tradition.
